Very rare certificate issued in 1910. Cerro Gordo District. Incorporated in Arizona in 1906. Cert. #324, issued for 3285 shares to Mrs. Lizzie H. Glide. Signed by President A.R. Short and secretary Edgar Pomeroy. Office at Keeler. Property included the famous Union mine at Cerro Gordo consolidated with the old Santa Maria mine and now called the Cerro Gordo mine. . Silver lead ore. Shipped ore from 600' and 800' levels in 1910 (Copper Handbook, 1910). The Cerro Gordo mine was located near the summit of Cerro Gordo peak. The Four Metals company erected a smelter east of Keeler and built an aerial tramway from the mine to the smelter. There were said to be 28 miles of tunnels and drifts in the Cerro Goro mine.
