This lot contains four commemorative coins, approximately 33mm in diameter, that commemorate the National Cemetary in Riverside, California. All four appear to be antiqued nickel, and one has been set into a bezel with a loop that could be hung from a thin chain as a pendant. The obverse beard an image of four different US servicemen with the words, "THAT THEY SHALL NOT HAVE DIED IN VAIN" beneath them. An eagle insignia reminiscent of the Great Seal of the United States appears above the four figures. The reverse bears an image, presumably of the cemetery, with palm trees and a low stone wall and the words, "NATIONAL CEMETERY, RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA" around the rim. The coins show some wear, but the features are clearly distinguishable and the antique finishing is intact. These come from the liquidation of Northwest Territorial Mint.
