1) Stephens Searchlight Gold Mining Company, #91 for 500 shares to E. J. Phillips Jr. in 1907. 2) Santa Barbara-Searchlight Mining Company, #28 for 3 shares to Henry E Carter in 1906. 3) Searchlight Midas Mining Company, #32 for 1000 shares to Fred Jackel in 1906. 4) Searchlight Free Gold Mining and Milling Company, #128 for 1250 shares to HH Clondman in 1906. These are all early stock certificate numbers. All were incorporated in the Territory of Arizona which was just over the border. Between 1907 and 1910 the mines produced about $10,000,000. Searchlight's most famous citizen is Senator Harry Reid the ranking Democrat in the Senate.
