This is an approximately 24x20-inch framed display of nine encapsulated Fine Silver proof coins commemorating different aspects of United States military service. Each of these coins was struck by the United States Mint as part of their Commemorative Coin Programs.
The title is "TO HONOR THOSE WHO SERVE" and includes the following nine coins: 1991 Korean War Memorial Proof Silver, 1991 USO 50th Anniversary Proof Silver, 1993 WWII 50th Anniversary Proof Silver, 1994 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Proof Silver, 1994 U.S. Prisoner of War Proof Silver, 1994 Women in Military Service Memorial Proof Silver, 1995 Civil War Battlefields Commemorative Proof Silver, 2002 West Point Bicentennial Proof Silver, 2005 United States Marine Corps 230th Anniversary Proof Silver, All coins are encapsulated and appear to be in truly mint condition with no tarnish or toning evident. The framed display features an American-style eagle in the center with the nine coins positioned around it. Each encapsulated coin is displayed in an inset into the matted image with a short description and a relevant quotation from a notable American figure written below.
