A nice example of Trench Art from France during World War I. The designations in raised relief of the AEF (American Expeditionary Forces) commanded by General John J. Pershing and The 12th Field Artillery Company. Also in raised relief are olive branches and the crossed cannons common for artillery companies. The shell is marked 75 DEC (de Campagne) and stands 12.5" tall by three inches wide. A beautiful piece as well as historic. Please see photos for more details
