A cabinet card showing a view of Fryer Hill (which is noted in pencil on the back of the card): lots of wooden structures and a few dump piles. The reverse is signed by the photographer, G.D. Wakely, who was an actor turned photographer. He worked in Denver starting in 1869 and arrived in Leadville in 1879. Condition: very good, with a small nick in the upper left hand corner and a fold to the bottom right corner of the card. Measures 4 1/2" x 7" [Mautz, pg. 40, 1986] From the John J.
