Group of ephemera mostly related to Fulford, Eagle County, Colorado. 1) Advertisement for Mail Service from Fulford to Eagle, 1909 (Fulford would close the next year). This post office was open from 1892-19012) 1898 schedule from Eagle to Fulford for postal service. 3) 1907 letter from Anchorage to the Fulford post master. Wants to know if anything is happening at the Elsie Mine. Includes cover in which it was sent, stamp and cancel cut out. 4) 1896 report on the Elsie Mine by J. A. Burgess. 5) A five page letter one the “Facts from Fulford.” Once a famous gold mining camp, again at the front with a rich free gold quartz strike. 6) Unused cover form the Elsie Union Compromise Gold Mining And Milling Company of Glenwood Springs. 7) 1898 report card for Arthur Stremme from his teacher Julia Stremme. 8-9) Two cut Theodore Stremme, Fulford, General Merchandise. 10) Cut for the San Juan Transfer Company of Durango. A. A. Hemley manager. Nice horse and wagon vignette. 11) 1897 Elks invitation fot J. Burgess (See above).
