A right hook miners' candlestick with teardrop handle (2.75 inches diameter), tall hook and thumb lever with decorative cutout. Wide center ridge with initials "G.K.P' engraved at handle neck. It is unclear, but the initials could possibly refer to Geo K. Robinson, a mining engineer born in 1825 in Pennsylvania and eventually made his way to the McGill Mining and Metallurgical society in Montreal, Canada by 1935. Regardless, this stick was probably owned by a mining engineer as it has seen little use with most of it's black coating still present. A very nice piece with a chance of history behind this candlestick. 13 inches long. State:zCanada City:Montreal Date: ID#45355
