Galveston: The Horrors of a Stricken City by Murat Halstead. 360 page hardcover “Portraying by pen and picture the awful calamity that befell the queen city on the gulf and the terrible scenes that followed the disaster.” First page inside cover is signed by the original owner Gressie Harvey Rockfold on April 15, 1912. The hardcover is multi-colored: the primary color is orange- beige which gives way to a black spine. The title on the front cover is written in block gold-colored font. The spine is deteriorating, evident by a missing section, and the spine as a whole is loose from the text block In addition there are stains on the cover and the pages. In Overall Poor Condition.
