This boot knife wears no marker's mark. It is 8 in. overall length, dagger blade, a bone grip, and a black leather sheath without metal tip. The sheath has a delicate bail wire indicating a concealed carry either in a man's boot or a woman's under garment. A popular carry during the 1870's-1890's by gamblers or ladies of the evening. Overall good condition with a shrinkage split in the bone handle, still firm.
