Cancelled $1,000 bonds were issued by the State of California and city and county of San Francisco Geary Street Railroad bond #20 at 4-1/2% payable Jan 1, and July 1. Company operated one of the first cable railways of San Francisco. Issued/cancelled, green border, raised company seal Printed: H.S. Crocker Co Lith. S.F. Vignette of downtown SF with cable cars in streets in front of buildings. Dec. 30, 1909, SF residents faced a ballot question on whether to issue bonds to build a Geary Street Railway.
