Great mining content. A letter written by 2 geologists about ore and tonnage in Hamilton and Aurora, NV. 1915, 10" x 7.5". 3 pages. Mentions sampling ore from the dumps of the Stafford Mine and Hidden Treasure Mine (located north of the bank buildings on Treasure Hill). Notes that Hidden Treasure may prove valuable, as there is "a greater tonnage available" and "some high grade streaks are easily seen." The Stafford is less promising since "underground, the ore has all but been taken out." Mentions samples from the South Aurora. Also says they should have samples from the Indian Queen next week. Clearly these are traveling geologists looking for prospects in Nevada. City: Hamilton State: Nevada Date: 1915 HWAC# 52866
