1832. Lot 757, 40 acres, first district, second section in Cherokee County (today) won by James Fielding, a resident of Dobbs in Hall County. This is a classic gold lottery lot, with the gold gravels sketched into the survey map along an unnamed east-west trending stream or river, possibly the Little River. Trees were red oak and poplar. Georgia Governor Wilson Lumpkin signed the document on the bottom folded portion where the pink ribbon and medallion are attached. The deed was executed in 1834. Generally fine condition with a few splits art corners of folds. No printer shown for either document. This is one of the few surviving surveys with a sketch of placer ground g1st classh land.
