Well, I saved the best for last, cause it's a blast. It is a painting of "Geronimo". He was the famous Chiricahua Apache Chief ( 1829-1909 ). He was the last warrior chief, and surrendered to General Miles in 1886. He was held in captivity at Fort Sill, where he died. This painting is an earlier representation of him, in his red war bandanna. 25 1/2" tall x 11" wide. Painted on old oak, tongue and groove barn wood, side board. Wired, and ready to be hung. Signed by Barbara Garland, and named on the reverse side of the painting. Great for a narrow hallway , next to the doorway. Good condition (* Note , #4 of 4, the last Barbara Garland painting, in this sale) ( RH). City: State: New Jersey Date: 1960's-1990's.
