Lot of 4. 1) The Gilpin Tramway Company. Two stocks, issued in 1888 and 1889. Stamp cancelled. Black border and print, railroad in mountains vignette. Signed by president Robert Campbell and the secretary. Folds, toning. Company was formed in 1886 to economically get the gold bearing quartz ore down from the mines to the mills of Central City and Black Hawk. Rails were put down in 1887. Rare. 2) The Georgetown Tunnel Transportation Company. $50 and $100 bonds issued in 1922, not cancelled. Brown or blue borders with bald eagle vignette.
