Lot of 7 MI Hummel porcelain figurines from Goebel/Germany & West Germany. Figurines are titled Weary Wanderer, The Lost Sheep, Postman, Little Cellist, Ich spiel' gern Ball at Play (Exclusive Edition 1998/99 M.I. Hummel Club on bottom), Chick Girl, and Mother's Darling (girl with two empty bags).
Note: Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel's nostalgic, pastoral sketches of children, first mass produced in Germany on post cards, became the famous line of MI Hummel porcelain figurines produced by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik starting in 1935. The popularity of Hummel figurines skyrocket after WW II as servicemen brought them home as souvenirs and collectibles.
