Number 869 for 2250 shares to trustee Robert E Hopkins in 1898. SIgned by Francis Dickson nd Franklin W Hopkins(?).

"[The] Nevada Mining Company concern was severely criticised some months by some of our correspondents and not cause. It appears in fact from information have received from well informed sources the company which owns a large placer in Nevada squandered its means and heavily involved in debt and attachments issued. We now learn that most of these judgments been purchased by friendly parties and that same parties are furnishing some capital which to actually test the ground. The quartz veins the original company held were some time ago conveyed to the Gold Creek, Nevada Consolidated Lodes Company. We have no recent information concerning these veins. The placer property was favorably reported on 1893 by Mr B. S. Church and also by a Mr. Duvall who signs himself practical miner. No work has been done since then that either prove or disprove these sanguine reports. It is to be hoped that those interested will make a serious working test of the property that the results obtained will refute the opinions expressed by some of our correspondents and will justify the estimates of experts and officers of the company."
