Original bound volume (9 x 11", 2.5" thick), dark leather binding broken apart at binding edges, gilt lettered cover. 5 3 x 4.5" photos of a mine inside front cover with negatives (Annie Laurie Mine). Articles of Incorp (Wyoming), By-Laws and Minutes (all signed by the secretary). 1904-1916. Agreement with Colonial Trust of Philadelphia lists large number of claims in the Ohio District (Crown Point Lode), Piute County. The first president was P.S. Merrill. Operations existed at Evanston, Wyoming. Acquired log Cabin Gold and Copper;properties of Rio Grande and Southern Gold Mines Co. in Colorado; Mt Wilson G etc. About 250pp of the 950 pp book are used. The last meeting recorded was April 27, 1916. The Company extended their lease of the Florence Mining & Milling Co to a third party for mines in the ohio and Mt Baldy mining districts.This is a unique record of a significant post-1900 gold company that made moves to acquire and mine properties.
