Lot of five. 1) Maynard & Flood, Nevada Territory, Sept. 14, 1863. Issued to Garmen (?) for "lagging to Holmes Mine." Issued by the Imperial Mining Co. Blue 2 cent adhesive. Cut cancel. 2) Two Bank of Gold Hill checks, 1880 & 1881, one signed by Wells Fargo, the other E. Niles. Both have blue 2 cent US IR adhesive stamps. Cut cancels. Rare Gold Hill bank! 3) Yellow Jacket Silver Mining Co., Jan. 5, 1884. Issued to the Brunswick Mill for $27,675. Signed by Eckley as president. RN-G. Nevada Bank of SF. At this point, the Bonanza Firm owned the bank and the mill. Cut cancel with tape repair. 4) Bank of California certificate of deposit issued April 26th, 1870. Signed by Blauvelt. Orange 2 cent Nevada and US IR adhesive revenue stamps with tied cancel. Folds with soiling on reverse.
