1.44 ounces. 0.5 x 2.5 x 2.0". Contains specs of native gold and electrum around a breccia clast. Eastgate is half way between Austin and Fallon. It was so named as it was one of three cuts in the hills that allowed immigrants to more easily traverse the land. (The other two are known as Middlegate and West Gate). The Gold Ledge was active as late as 1939 with ore being treated at a West Gate Mill. The Gold Ledge is just south of Eastgate. State:Nevada City:Eastgate Date: ID#45682
