First production of the Manhattan Gold Mine is listed as 1868, and operations started and stopped numerous times up to 1990. The site has been reclaimed by Round Mountain Gold Corporation. As recently as 2020, Scorpio Gold has acquired property from Round Mountain Gold in the district. This ore specimen comes from the Bonanza Vein and shows visible gold flecks in the quartz. It is a wedge-shaped slab approx 2.5 x 1.5 x .7 inches on the thickest edge.
