This is a pair of one-troy ounce, 999 Fine Silver medallions from Northwest Territorial Mint. The first medallion features a classic image of a prospector panning for gold at the edge of a stream -- a small, genuine gold nugget has been affixed onto his gold pan. The reverse is an exquisitely designed relief map of the Pacific Northwest showing sailing routes from Seattle with a mirror-like proof finish for the background. The second medallion features a montage of images from the Pacific Northwest including Chief Morning Clowd of the Swinomish Tribe, an orca whale, and a bald eagle. The reverse features a detailed rendition of the Seattle skyline, "The City of Goodwill." Each encapsulated coin includes a Certificate of Authenticity and is nestled into a black velvet-lined leatherette-style clamshell case. See photo for details.
