This is a pair of one-troy ounce, 999 Fine Silver medallions from Northwest Territorial Mint. The first item features a classic image of a prospector panning for gold at the edge of a stream -- a small, genuine gold nugget has been affixed onto his gold pan. The second item is an underground scene of a hard rock miner drilling into the face of the drift with an ore car in front that has a small gold nugget affixed to it. The reverse of both coins is an exquisitely designed relief map of the Pacific Northwest showing sailing routes from Seattle with a mirror-like proof finish for the background. This lot comes from the liquidation of Northwest Territorial Mint. City: State: Date: HWAC# 79553
