Gold ring recovered from the S.S. Central America shipwreck in 2014 from the port-side debris field, Coin Pile #2. It is size 6.5, with a large, three-leaf club or clover leaf at the center which is flat for engraving. Shoulders are textured to resemble natural gold nuggets, 7.78 grams (0.250 ozt). There is some discussion internally here on whether the gold nugget texture was made using the lost-wax process or if this a combination of small nuggets and the wax process.
