Gold ring recovered from the S.S. Central America shipwreck in 2014 from the port-side debris field, Coin Pile #2. It is size 6.25, with a Christian cross at the center surrounded by leaf designs, 3.84 grams (0.123 ozt). While this ring exhibits no personalized engraving, the insignia suggests it was worn by a man of the Cross. Did this ring belong to Mr. Ange Richon, who was carrying the Medal of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus to Paris?
