Very rare. We have only sold two of these in the last 11 years. Inc. in Colorado. No. 393, issued for 100 shares to Walter Oakley in 1884. Signed by (General) Willard Davis as president and the secretary. Not cancelled. Red border, green and gold text. Folds, clean. "Goodloe, Colo." and "Topeka, Kansas" printed under title. We could not find any reference to Goodloe--it must have been short-lived mining camp. Six miles from Pittsburg, Colorado was Dark Canon where the company's Silver King mine was located. The Silver King was a large vein of galena in cretaceous shales. Ore grades were from 10-200 oz. silver per ton with some samples also showing 1 oz. of gold (E.M.J. Vol. 38, 1884, pp. 88)
