Lot of 21 stereoviews of this iconic park in San Francisco built in the early 1870s as the city's version of Central Park. 1) Two by AJ McDonald, San Francisco, c.1887. One shows a big elk in the park and the other shows birds. 2) View of well-dressed visitors at the Music Stand. Back says MF McNeil, January 28, 1897. 3) Five different by Griffith & Griffith: Artillery passing through Golden Gate Park; three different of flower beds and sun dial; and rare card showing the tea house in the Japanese tea garden. 4) Three by the Fox Sterio Photo Co. in Bakersfield: two damaged showing the ruins of the Fine Arts Building; and one showing the Japanese Tea Garden. 5) Five hand-made cards (no publishers). 6) Balance: Underwood & Underwood showing President McKinley, c.1901; c.1897 Keystone hand-colored No. 5074; Sterro-Photo Co.
