Extra rare. 1908 receipt billed to the Cobweb (Saloon) for one dozen sodas. 6.25 x 3.5" Known to bottle collectors for the clear crown top soda bottle with large, bold initials "G B & Co." The Goldfield Bottling Company opened in 1904 with proprietors Hathaway, Grahlman & Crosby. Ownership changed to the partnership of Burley and Woodward in 1907. Woodward sold to HL King in about 1910. The company sold sodas to saloons and stores on a wholesale basis, such as the Cobweb Liquor Stores (see this receipt), but also had a retail trade to the public.
