Lot of 4 different including early pieces. All signed by George Wingfield, one of the Nevada's most powerful economic and political figures during the period from 1909 to 1932. These 4 span his entire career (he died in 1960). He went from being a faro dealer to the position of richest man in Nevada in less than five years. With his partner, George Nixon, he established the Goldfield Consolidating Mining Company, which ultimately produced more than $50 million worth of ore. In 1906, they formed the Nixon National Bank of Reno. In 1908, Wingfield moved to Reno, where he became active in politics, banking, ranching, and hotels. 1) Stock no. 896, issued in 1906 to Wickman.
