An exquisite collection of stock from the Goldfield, Nevada mining era.

1-2) Goldfield-Oro Mining Company. Two different styles: a) No. 653, issued in 1906 to F.S. Samuel for 100 shares. Signed by president Weber and the secretary. Not cancelled. Allegorical vignette. b) No. 2115, issued for 1,000 shares to Frank Aulls in 1910. Not cancelled. Green border with turtle vignettes in each corner.

According to the Mines Register, 1918, the Goldfield-Oro Mining Company had 33 acres develped to 800 feet depth. $40 assays reported in 1916. Also developing the Vulture Mine in the Wonder district.

3) The Goldfield Rosebush Leasing & Mining Company. No. 335, issued for 1,000 shares to L. Faure in 1907. Signed by president Miller and the secretary. not cancelled. orange border, green and black print, and allegorical vignette.

The company owned a lease on the Rosebush property as well as the Majestic group - a parcel of seven claims. Properties were located in Nye County, 12 miles east of Goldfield.

4) The Goldfield Kewanas Mining Company. No. 268, issued for 1,000 shares in 1906. Signed by vice president W. Douglass and the secretary. Not cancelled. Green and gold border, gold and black print. The company went bankrupt in 1913.

5) The Atlanta Mines Company. No. 605, issued to J.W.C. Wilson for 1,000 shares in 1905. Signed by Henry Weber as president and company secretary. Black print, gold seal. Cancelled with stamp and perforation. The company owned 74 patented acres at Goldfield.

6) Great Bend Extension Mining Company. No. 1036, issued to F.R. Lewis for 500 shares in 1907. Signed by company president B.J. Rielly and secretary. Not cancelled. Black, gold, and red print, gold seal. Stylize black border. Vignette of underground mining scene.

7) Goldfield Jupiter Mining Company. No. 134, issued to Randall Pope for 500 shares in 1907. Signed by company vice president H.T. Bragdon and company secretary. Ornate green border, black print. Vignette of miners working in tunnel.

8) Goldfield Vencendor Mining Company. No. 446, issued to R. Holtman for 1,000 shares in 1908. Signed by company president J.K. Walsh and company secretary. Ornate black border, black and red print, gold seal. Three vignettes at top, of prospectors and miners.

9) Goldfield Luck Boys Mining Company. No. 100, issued to Jas. H. Brown for 100 shares in 1909. Signed by company president and secretary. Ornate green border, black print, vignette of Greek goddess and cherub.
