He was one of the principal members of the Goldfield Realty Company (which built the Goldfield Hotel), a stockholder in the Bonanza Hotel with George Wingfield and others, on the board of directors of the Goldfield Mohawk Co, president of the Goldfield Gold Banner Leasing & Mining Co., president of the Mohawk Florence Leasing & Mining Corp., secretary of the Frances-Mohawk Mining & Leasing Co. and secretary of the Goldfield Madonna MC. 1) Two different stock certificates signed by Hayes.
