This is a view of the Hot Springs Hotel with the steamer the Governor Stanford docked in the bay. The photographer is identified as Carlton Watkins of San Francisco. The matte measures 6.5" x 4.20 while the photograph measures 6.10" x 3.70" The focus is sharp and the contrast is medium. The Governor Stanford was one of Tahoe's most popular steamers.
