Great name for an Arizona stock! Inc. in the Territory of Arizona, 1897. No. 84, issued for 100 shares to Ray Gold on Jan. 16th, 1901. Signed by president W.G. Rifenburg and secretary EE Mallette. Not cancelled. Black border with multiple mining vignettes. Larger mining vignette in the upper left corner. Folds, rips on bottom edge, tape repaired bottom right corner. 8.25 x 10" According to a 1901 ad for the company in The Country Gentleman, Volume 66, they planned to dredge for gold along the Colorado River. They have 16 claims, 20 acres each. According to E&MJ Vol. 70, the company was going to work the Gold Standard and adjacent claims in Riverside County. The Mining & Metallurgical Journal (Vol VXIII, 1897), the company "has been organized to work the rich gold bars on the Colorado River, in Mohave County, on a large scale.."
