Lot of ten medals with attributes to the Granger movement, or the Grange Party, in the period after the Civil War. The medals are all holed, to be worn, are brass, round and 21 mm. Designs are similar: horse and cart, or horse in corral, Masonic like symbols or agricultural equipment on the other side. Oliver Hudson Kelley founded the Granger movement just after the Civil War. He began The Patrons of Husbandry to bring farmers together for educational discussions and social purposes. The movement grew to fight monopolistic grain transport practices, and is still active today.[
