1) Blue on off white. # 72 for 30 shares to William Brandreth (vice president). Signed by Edwin H Mulford and president FA White. Dateline new York 1880. Vignette of four miners working a claim with a mule grazing and jagged peaks in background. Printer Maverick and Wissinger. Not Cancelled. 2) Black on off white with red underprint 'one hundred shares.' Number 2514 for 100 shares. Other information same as above. Blue cert has a dog ear and two pin holes. Otherwise both do not have any corner, edge or discoloration issues. This mine was located two miles southeast of Vein Mountain in McDowell County. [Burchard, 1882] Balch [1882] reported that the mine was a placer deposit in gravels that were mine hydraulically. The company had ditches 20 miles long and a sixty foot head of water.
