Thirteen different stocks from Idaho miners. 1)Hybar Mining Co. Ltd. (ID), issued in 1904. Three mining vignettes. Unc. 2)Blackstone Mining and Power Company, Ltd. (ID), issued in 1907. Big Creek Canyon, Bear Lake County, Idaho printed on the masthead. Eagle vignette. Some tears in right border. Unc. 3)Caledonia Mining Company (ID), issued in 1909. The company owned 50 acres adjoining the Bunker Hill & Sullivan MC. Ore was lead-silver. Operated near Mullan. Piece missing at top right corner and small chink in right border. Stamp cxled. 4)Caledonia Mining Company (ID), issued in 1923. Different format certificate. Miners underground. Very attractive. Unc. 5)Boise Exploration and Mining Co. (AZ), issued at Rockford, Illinois in 1909. Tears at folds repaired on the front with archival tape. Unc. 6)Gold Hill Mining Co., Ltd. (ID), issued in 1911. Most likely operated in the Le Lande mining district, Shoshone Co. Mining vignette at top left. Unc. 7)Hypotheek Mining and Milling Company (ID), $100 First Mortgage Gold Bond issued in 1914. No coupons attached. Unc. 8)Reindeer Queen MC (ID), issued at Wallace, ID. in 1924. The company operated 15 Mullan copper belt claims as well as 6 Reindeer claims. It was a consolidation of the Copper Queen and Reindeer Queen companies. Seven mining vignettes. Unc. 9)Gem State Mining Co. (ID), issued at Spokane, Wash. in 1924. Operated in the Hunter mining district 3 1/2 miles from Mullan. Ore was silver-lead-gold. Three mining vignettes. Unc. 10)Idaho Copper Company (ID), issued in 1926. Operated the Red Ledge, and South Peacock mines in the Seven Devils mining district, plus the Iron Dyke mine in Baker County, Oregon. Rough right edge with tear in the border. No vignette. Unc. 11)Best Chance Gold Mines Corporation (ID), issued in 1937. Operated in the Elk City district, Idaho County (Mines Register, 1937). No vignette. Unc. 12)Sunrise Silver-Lead Mining Company (ID), issued in 1920. Most likely operated in the Silver Valley mining district. Issued at Osburn, Idaho, located in Shoshone County. 13)Day Mines, Inc. (ID), issued in 1973. The company became and Idaho corporation in 1947 consolidating 12 mining companies in Silver Valley, the most valuable being the Tamarack and Custer (U. of Idaho Archives).
