Stock #13 issued to Otto F. Stifel for 300 shares of St. Louis American League Base Ball Company stock at $100 per share. It's dated My 31, 1816 and signed by L.B. Von Weise, secretary and P.D. Ball, president. Tragically, the holder of the stock, Otto Stifel, the owner of a brewery in St. Louis, fell into financial troubles and asked Ball to buy back the stock. Apparently Ball refused to do so. This contributed to Stifel taking his own life in 1920. Stock is very rare and in fine condition. Please see photos for more details/ St. Louis Missouri
