Mining vignette and red and blue print. Folds, toning. 6.25 x 10" The mine, founded by the Hancock Exploration Gold Prospect, worked the Marquette Iron Mining District, Michigamme, Baraga County, Michigan. USGS report has gold as the primary and Vanadium as secondary commodities. In Degood, there are a number of Hancock mines mentioned but no iron mine. Possibly related to Hancock Copper, as the single known example for that company was the same time period.
