Two hand hewn bricks made from chert. Approximately 4x9x3" each. These highly unusual and rare stone bricks were made specifically for the boarding house at the Miller tunnel site, the lower level drainage tunnel for the Lucky Boy Mine. A small town grew here in about 1908 that required a boarding house and other outbuildings, a number of which are still present today.
