#A42834 for 100 shares in 1900. Issued to Edward P. Harriman. His signature is on the reverse. Steam locomotive vignette. Hole punch cancelled. Very nice with no edge of corner issues. Edward P. Harriman was a rebuilder of bankrupt and trouble railroads. It started with the Ogdensburg and Lake Champlain RR. In 1900 he was president of the Union Pacific Railroad. Sparks, Nevada was originally called Harriman in his honor, but he requested that his name not be used!
