Near Jamestown, Tuolumne County, California. 168 grams. Perhaps 25 grams of gold? 2.5 L x 1.75 W x 1.75" H. Native gold in quartz. Vein was 1.75" wide with crystalline gold right in the middle. Mined about the year 2000. Harvard Mine has produced some of the most beautiful native gold specimens from California. Specimens were collected as early as the 1850s and can be found in every major mineral museum in America. This specimen has not yet been curated.
