Merriam / Die Sinker / 18 Brattle Square / Boston /Medals Struck In / Gold / Silver, Copper or Tin. Joseph H. Merriam first appears in the Boston directories in 1854 at 147 1/2 Washington Street, then in 1857 he moved to 18 Brattle Square.
