Three items from Helena, Montana, included a 3.75-inch diameter, gummed-back luggage sticker for the Placer Hotel printed in black and gold ink showing the hotel as it appeared after it was built in 1912. John F. Kennedy stayed in the Hotel Placer in 1960, and an arson fire occurred there in May of 1965. It is now the Placer Condo Association. The lot also includes a 4.75x2.625-inch advertising card from Jos. Davis promoting their "made-to-measure suit," and an approximately 6x8-inch Notice To Employees regarding the Workmen's Compensation Act with a date stamp of Oct 14, 1947 (not clear), and name-stamped with U.S. Grant Mining Company at the bottom.
