Eleven pieces of varying size, of high-grade gold ore from the Hishikari Gold Mine in southern Japan. See other listings of Hishikari specimens for details about the mine. These eleven pieces range from the largest at 4.25 x 3 x 1.25 inches (~274 grams) to 1 x 0.6 x 0.5 inches (~5.1 grams). All show some portion of the high-grade mineralization that makes Hishikari one of the richest gold deposits in world. Visible gold and dark grey silver minerals are present in each piece. Total weight for this lot is 864 grams.
