High-grade silver ore from the Silver King Mine in Lincoln County, Nevada, approx 65 x 40 x 30 mm. Original collector described native silver with cerargyrite (a.k.a. chlorargyrite), and quartz. Specimen is a rhyolite breccia with abundant white quartz rimmed with dark grey mineralization, possibly argentite. a hand lens reveals druzy quartz crystals and flecks of silvery mineral that could be the native silver, and some secondary mineralization caused by weathering (the chlorargyrite).
