Lot of 4, two different airlines incorporated in New York. 1) Stout-D & C Air Lines, Inc. Stock issued in 1930, not cancelled, signed by William B. Stout. William Bushnell Stout (March 16, 1880 – March 20, 1956) was a pioneering American inventor, engineer, developer and designer whose works in the automotive and aviation fields were groundbreaking. Stout designed an aircraft that eventually became the Ford Trimotor and was an executive at the Ford Motor Company. This stock has a brown border and eagle vignette. Plus a stock option warrant issued in 1930. Operated out of Ford Airport in Dearborn, Michigan. Stout was the first to hire male flight attendants. 2) Robinson Airlines Corporation. One stock issued in 1947, not cancelled, plus an unissued piece. Green border and background, black print. Signed by president C.S. Robinson. Glue residue on left edge.
