1) Man on bike in front of J. B. Caro--- 2) H. B. Baseball team. It seems these came to Shamberger with a letter that they were from Goldfield. 3) 1904 letter from Goldfield about Sodaville. Great historical information. "This [Sodaville] is a new camp and there is lots of excitement." "There are about 100 tents and shacks up." "It is a dusty ride of six hours from Tonopah on a rig called a stage, three on a seat built for two, but any old thing goes here these times." Half the letter is about his visits to the Tonopah mines. Three pages. 4) 1/2 page letter from Butler with mention of Candelaria, Sodaville, and Cerro Gordo. Send money! From the personal collection of Hugh Shamberger. Photos identified by Hugh on the front or the back. City: Goldfield area State: Nevada Date: HWAC# 49956
