Albert Bormann was the adjunct or personal secretary to Adolph Hitler. He was the younger brother to Martin Borgmann; another close personal aide to Hitler. This letter written on Hitler letterhead is to Herr Liebermann, a Jew. The letter details why Hitler can't sign this document, dated March, 1933. After the war, Albert went by the name of Roth. Recognized in 1949, he was arrested and sentenced to hard labor by the Munich courts. Evidently there was sibling rivalry where the brothers never talked to each other. His brother Martin disappeared in 1945. Albert died in 1989 and refused to discuss or write about the Third Reich. 8.75 in. X 7.5 in. In good condition with professional tape on the back fold.
