Dateline Overton, Nevada County, CA with "Carson City, Nevada" stamped over. 1901. Issued to Harvey Boone of Bodie, CA, a general goods merchant. Great connection between these two well-known California camps! The Sierra Nevada Wood & Lumber Co. formed during the Comstock to supply the mines with lumber.
