Hobnail Green Historical Flask 5.25" tall. 2" wide at base. 4" across. Open pontil. Base shows shelf wear and minor wear to extremity of hobnails. Microchip on lip, difficult to see. Pattern contains about 7 hobnails per square inch. While this bottle appears circa 1830-1850, Hobnail glass was re-introduced by Fenton in the 1930s and a similar color was known as Colonial Green, although many other manufacturers later produced stippled glass.
